John Mayer (@JohnMayer) 38, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, and famous for dating: Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Jennifer Aniston and Katy Perry, has conquered the world of music and love, but is now setting his sights on beauty vlogging on Snapchat.

He joked, “People are always asking me, ‘John, what are some of your skincare secrets?’”

“And I always say, ‘That’s an odd question to ask me.’ And they always say, ‘You literally just asked me to ask you that.”

His series of snaps called “Skincare Secrets with John” showed various tongue-in-cheek techniques on how to be skin stage ready each morning.

He proceeded to show how he achieves his daily Hollywood glow by putting his hair back in a folded bandana, using Natura Bissé (@NaturaBisse_Int) at night and letting his audience know about his “skin hacks.”

John included expensive products which were not labelled #sponsored so it is unclear whether or not the products were endorsed products.

Steps to Achieve That Skin Ready Glow According to John Mayer:

Step #1: Wash face with Proactiv, then apply Natura Bissé, a brand that he suspects “is used mainly by people in their 60s and 70s” onto your face.

He says that you should use “D.A.T” OR “direct application technique” by putting the lotion directly onto skin to save money since the Natura Bissé Diamond Life Infusion costs $590

Step #2: Eye cream is a better form of moisturizer, according to John, in a small and expensive bottle. He applies everywhere on his face.

Step #3: How to combat aging lines? Simple grin and use “The Offset Smiley,” applying Natura Bissé Diamond Drops on the upper lip and chin to get rid of laugh lines.

Step #4: Use Use a Q-tip to apply dollops of cream into CNZ or “Crucial Necessity Zones.” These are dry areas where you need the most moisture and usually this step takes him two hours.

Step #5: Head-butt into vapor as you apply Natura Bissé Diamond Mist.

His beauty regime costs $1,597 in total and is only applicable if you have time, money and a celebrity sized ego to spare.
